Description
Loxeal 59-40 is a one-component, non-slumping assembly sealant based on MS polymers. It is odorless, solventless, and free of isocyanates and it provides elastic, structural sealing with an excellent adhesion to many substrates without Primer. It is useful for sealing and fixing metal panels and sheets, bonding wood metal in door and window frames, bonding metal (U) profiles onto glasses, plastic sheets, painted surfaces, epoxy, polystyrene foam, PVC, steel, anodized aluminum, and wood, concrete, GRP, and uPVC. Loxeal 59-40 has a good resistance to weather conditions, and it can cope with differential thermal expansions in heterogeneous joints, it is highly resistant to vibrations and it remains permanently elastic within the working temperature range. Not suitable for PTFE, natural copper, bituminous surfaces applications, and underwater applications.
